Fertility Hypnosis: Hypnosis can double the chance of fertilization

Are you struggling with Infertility?

Have you tried fertility treatments and failed?

Are you getting ready for In-vitro fertilization and want to increase your probability of pregnancy?

Hypnosis works to help treat infertility by reducing stress and anxiety levels that adversely affect a woman's ability to conceive and to have a healthy pregnancy.

Figures vary, but as many as 40% of infertility cases have been described as 'unexplained'  when no medical cause can be found, adding to the confusion, anxiety and fear.

Research has shown that Hypnosis for fertility doubles the success of IVF treatment. Researchers at Soroka University in Israel found that 28% of woman in the group that were Hypnotized became pregnant compared to 14% of those were not Hypnotized.

The study of 185 women was presented to the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.  Researchers wanted to see if Hypnosis could make the embryo transfer stage of IVF more successful.  If the womb is contracting at this point, it can affect the chances of the transplant being a success.

Hypnotic suggestions helped the women to relax and altered the body's responses, making the women 50% more likely to conceive.

What is the Mind-Body Fertility connection?

Hypnosis helps to lower stress, relieve anxiety and give you a greater sense of control over your situation.  It creates a state of balance between mind and body. This allows conception to occur more easily, either through natural or medically assisted methods.

Stress has been identified as a major contributing factor in fertility issues.  Physical changes occur in the body as a result of the frustrations with getting pregnant, which can result in increased difficulty in conceiving.  When the cycle of stress is broken, chances for conception and pregnancy are greatly enhanced.

"The mind/body approach to fertility is based on the premise that knowledge is power and that a change in perception based on new information is powerful enough to effect subtle changes in your endocrine, immune, and nervous systems. Regardless of what you’ve been told about your fertility, you need to know that your ability to conceive is profoundly influenced by the complex interaction among psychosocial, psychological, and emotional factors, and that you can consciously work with this to enhance your ability to have a baby."
